Battlestar Galactica took the SciFi fan world by storm. The show was born out of controversy because of creative disputes between Richard Hatch (an actor from the original series who was given a role on the new series) and Glen Larson's choice to produce the new show: Ron Moore. Although the differences of opinion have long since been laid to rest, many fans of the original series still hope to see Richard Hatch's proposed revival come to fruition in some way.
